Cancellations and refunds

At HostMySports, we aim to provide a transparent and fair refund process for all our users. Our platform connects Organizers and Participants for various sporting events. This Refund Policy outlines how and when refunds are applicable.

1. Refunds for Participants (Players)

Participants are eligible for a refund only if the event is canceled, postponed indefinitely, or if the Organizer clearly states a refundable policy in the event description. Refunds are NOT automatically granted. Participants should first contact the Organizer for resolution.

Charges for the participation may vary from event to event. Starting from Rs. 100 to Rs. 5000/-

Refunds are not issued under the following circumstances:

- Change of mind after successful registration.

- Participant is unable to attend the event due to personal reasons.

If a refund is approved, it may take up to 7-14 working days to process and credit in the participant's original payment method.

2. Refunds for Organizers

Organizers may request partial or full refund of fees only in cases where:

- Platform-related technical errors caused the event to fail .

Organizers are required to initiate refunds to participants in case of event cancellation or major logistical failure. Organizers failing to comply may be removed from the Platform.

3. Platform Service Charges

HostMySports may retain transaction or service charges incurred while processing participant payments. These are non-refundable, even in the case of organizer-initiated refunds.

4. Chargebacks and Disputes

Chargebacks without prior communication with the Organizer or Platform may result in temporary suspension of user accounts. We encourage all parties to resolve issues amicably before initiating financial disputes.

5. How to Request a Refund

Participants can raise refund requests directly to the Organizer.

HostMySports acts as a facilitator and holds no responsibility for refund decisions made solely by the Organizer.
